Cheap plastic spikes were broken on delivery. They sent another, cheap plastic spikes broke again. Now I have 2 of these that are useless and going in the bin. Save money and buy something else.

Originally bought for my Street Glide but didn't fit because the spikes hit the top of the bracket that connects to the taillights. Anyway, I put it on my Sportster and it looks very nice. Everyone liked it except my friend who walked by and managed to cut her leg on the spikes. I think it's also a security system. Be safe when walking.

The frame is made of very strong aluminum with a thick coat of paint. I actually had to sharpen the frame a bit because the bolts on my bike weren't long enough to make a good connection, but a few minutes with the dremel did the trick. I was a bit disappointed to find that the spikes break fairly easily . They're just plastic, so if you decide to buy one, be very careful with the spikes.
