They would be perfect if they used about 3-4 times more velcro to attach them to the leg. They actually have about 1 inch of velcro to attach about 2 inches at the back end. They can work if you have really wide ankles or wear very bulky pants (or if you wear them around your knees), but they're mostly useless for ankle straps.

I have ordered many cheap anklets and these are a head bigger with much stronger and more efficient velcro. Others criticized the length of the CSYSX, which can be used in different situations depending on the wide trouser cuffs and ankle circumference. They work for me, but not for everyone. An unusually effective Velcro, however.
