Didn't work for me although seems like a good tool

I was hoping this bushing would help remove the connecting rod bolt from my Honda. I couldn't move the bolt and return the socket. I used a good quality Ridgid impact wrench and then tried a corded impact wrench that was advertised as having a breaking torque of 800 ft/lbs. I'm disappointed because my car is on jack stands and it's not safe to pull like crazy with long breakers.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Worked like clockwork

The crankshaft bolt was very tight, the car sat for several weeks because I couldn't remove it. Tried all the usual tricks and made no progress. I heated the bolt with a MAPP torch (yellow bottle, available at a hardware store) for about 5 minutes and the bolt dislodged immediately, only a few seconds after impact. It's an expensive head, but if you're struggling with the crankshaft like me, it's worth every penny.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Was damaged

Job done but sloppy tolerances

Well, it worked for now. It's heavy and durable. My only complaint is that the head of the screw is slightly raised. The 19mm jack size is closer to 19mm. I measured 0.759 inches. I think 19mm is 0.748 inches. All that needs to be said is that there is a fair bit of slop. Due to the deformation of the head, I would estimate that the contact area with the screw head is about 2-3mm on each side. So if you ever need to use this to change the timing belt/water pump and you have a good strong…

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

WORKS GREAT for tools and gear

Totally worth the money, saved me a lot of hassle and wasted effort. It took me literally 3 seconds to unscrew a 2002 Honda Odyssey crank bolt at the junkyard and again less than 3 seconds on my 1999 Odyssey at home which needed another harmonic balancer. If you're thinking of getting this instead of the brand name which costs a few bucks more get it, it works just as well, it came earlier than the branded one because Revain carried it in their warehouse. I didn't need a crank holding tool to…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not sure

I call it "The Nutcracker "

SPECIAL NOTE: This head *does* not *fit* Honda's custom crankshaft pulley bracket at all, it's too thick! You have been warned that you can use one or the other, but NOT both at the same time. Apart from that, I didn't actually need a crankshaft tool, it was enough! I've seen horrible YouTube videos of people failing to break a crankshaft pulley/harmonic balance nut using impact tools, sometimes even this tool. I had the most positive experience as it helped me. I pounded the pulley nut…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality
