CTA Tools 2036 Square Socket Review

My '88 Wrangler has a Peugeot transmission and the socket is the right size. My local auto parts and home stores don't have this and I'm happy to find it here at a good price.

It didn't break when I removed the plug I bought it for which was tight enough to require a cheat breaker. Should be pretty good steel. I may never use it again, but at least I now have a socket for an 8MMX3/8 drive!

Purchased for use with DMC-12 for oil pan plugs. The socket is too long to be used easily when attached to the key for that particular car. You'll either have to grind it down to make it shorter, or get creative with rotating it (I used a vise). The product is durable and fits the screw head and wrench well.

I have no idea what this socket does. But my husband said to order. He told me it worked great for the project he was working on. Flushing the transmission oil was it in my opinion. Apparently this was the only part he was missing to design the house himself. So he was happy to find it from Revain at a reasonable price and with fast delivery.

Absolutely stupid that you even need this tool (why can't they make 1/4" or 3/8 connectors)"Drive, so you can use a regular ratchet?). Also, this tool worked great for removing a stubborn plug in my intake manifold. I have tried many shade tree methods to remove the plug but this has worked where others have failed.
