Not the best price for engine parts

Has great works because I'm neat. Needed more, got it a lot cheaper without having to wait at O'Riley right down the street. You should have looked there beforehand.

Works as expected in parts

I used these to check crank and connecting rod bearing clearance on a Polaris rzr 1000 engine rebuild. The kit was spot on for that extra reassurance. The width chart is easy to use and understand.

An indispensable tool for a general overhaul.

Plastigage is hard to find at retail so it was great to be able to order it. I used it once in 1997 with great results. This is a simple and practical way to get 100% confidence in your bearing's oil clearance. Check your car's Hanes manual for the oil release section to purchase the correct kit.
