I was concerned there would be no loose change because it has no elastic, metal or anything to hold on to that would close it. But to my surprise, even after months of use, the loose change stays there and doesn't fall into my pocket like other squeezable coin pouches that have rubber or metal snap closures. Rubber or metal always wore out, so the bag wouldn't close. But this one doesn't seem to wear out anytime soon and stays closed enough to hold changes. The size suits me too.

It seems that it is difficult to spoil the design of a coin pouch, but this manufacturer has managed to do it. I've had at least two of these bags in the past, but not from this manufacturer, and they've never had a problem. They were well designed but wore out over time. The problem with this is that the "petals" that open to put coins in are too small and the coins (pennies and dimes) always find their way from the pouch to the pouch.
