    Very thin. in molds and ice cube trays

    When using the tray for the first time, the release lever bent. It took a lot of effort to even move the handle that far. I had these ice cube trays as a kid and they were much stronger. These trays are cheap and don't work properly, mainly due to the use of inferior materials.

    Good idea. Disgusting quality.

    Arrived on time. Two trays. One broke on first use (the handle broke off). The second lasted until the third use (the handle broke off). Can't fix. I threw it away and ordered silicone baths. They work fine. I recommend ordering silicone molds for cubes. These are usually poorly made.

    Not worth the money

    I bought it out of nostalgia because my grandma used to have ice molds like this when she was little. They LOOK like the same trays, but they aren't strong enough to use. They are lightweight aluminum (I think) and when you try to pull the lever to release the ice the lever flexes and most of the time the levers don't move so you can't get the ice out. They were more frustrating than helpful, so I threw them away.

    Not happy with the quality

    Ice is very difficult to remove. First you have to let it thaw, but then you can't put what's not used back in the freezer. The lever is not very strong and the base is easy to deform. We used these as a kid and I would only recommend them for decorative items as they don't seem nearly as strong. We've decided to go back to the cheap plastic ones you spin. Sure, they break easily, but they last longer and are a lot cheaper to replace.

    Breaks easily: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

    I was really excited because the built in ice in the fridge makes ice tasting a pleasure. We've been using them for less than 3 weeks and one has already broken. The small bolts holding the ratchet broke completely and flew away. I hoped it would last a long time. But from the very first try to use them, they felt like they were about to break. They worked great for multiple purposes and are now completely useless. At least I can recycle them, but that's a waste of money.

    Lightweight and easy to use

    We've found that ice cubes from our ice maker make us sick. We'll no doubt investigate and fix this in due course (ie if our budget allows), but in the meantime we wanted a pair of classic metal ice cube trays that could be used to make ice cubes with safe bottled water.     They are much more convenient to use than plastic, which releases toxins on ice

    I love these stainless steel ice cube trays. I am very concerned about the impact of using plastic items to store food (and ice). These items may say they are BPF-free, but who knows what other chemicals might harm us. Plastic has been found to leach estrogen, which can cause breast cancer. No thank you.
