Does the job but is very bulky and a little cheap

Does the job but is pretty bulky for what it contains. I would have preferred something flatter, even if the discs are overlapping. What it does requires a lot of valuable counter or shelf space. It also looks like a cheap display. If you have a lot of extra space the convenience of this holder is hard to beat, but I'm currently looking at alternatives. It also doesn't block anything. When the holder is moved, it is not uncommon for the dough knife to dislodge from its position and simply rest…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

A good case, well organized, but with one fatal flaw - be careful!

We kept our Cuisinart parts in a bowl in the closet and decided to buy one to protect from potential cuts. I was happy to see how well he organized the plays. Then I took the loaded holder. The holder has no bottom and leaves sharp blades on the bottom! Now I have to be careful when taking it out of the closet and try not to hold it on the bottom (grab the sides). I can't believe they overlooked that they didn't give it a reason and opened the surgically sharp blades! It would probably cost…

  • Decent performance

Kitchen Utensils You MUST Have - Don't Take a Potential Safety Risk!

This gimmick, while pricey for a food processor blade carrier, is an absolute must when your kitchen has such sharp appliances. Before I got this, I kept blades and discs on a shelf and would stab myself during the day (fortunately not that bad), but realized it was important to lock these things up in a case to avoid further injury. Do yourself a favor and don't repeat my mistake and send $27 of that value to save yourself a finger or two! To be honest, it couldn't have paired better with all…

super safe. Oh wait, the floor is open!

I cut my finger with these when I was a kid, so I know how sharp they are! I have this because I have two children and I will not leave these blades open. I don't have a big kitchen so I bought this holder to put in my closet. Well, to grab it I have to grab it, but the entire underside is OPEN and the blades are exposed. So unless you keep it on the counter or in the closet and open the locking front just to get the blades out, you risk heating yourself up as hell every time you pick it up. I…

OK, but not enough.

Cuisinart is known for making quality products for the home cook, which explains my dissatisfaction with this Cuisinart BDH-2 Blade and Disc Holder. On the plus side, it looks great on the countertop and does a great job of organizing the handle, blade and slices. A clear plastic sheet allows you to easily identify the ideal attachment for the job at hand. The lock on the door sounds like a good idea, but it's actually more of a deadbolt since any two-year-old or chimp can open it in ten…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
