Works great! Ice cream has a soft consistency. We put it in Tupperware and let it harden in the freezer before eating. My boyfriend says the included vanilla ice cream recipe is the best vanilla ice cream he's ever eaten! It's great to know exactly what's in your ice cream. Not great if you add toppings so be careful with that. It's pretty loud, but it works hard!

I purchased a lightly used ice cream maker from this seller and was very surprised at the price of this machine! It uses a freezing drum, so it's a lot easier and quicker than using an old-fashioned ice cream maker that takes tons of ice and salt. You simply store the drum in the freezer and can serve a soft portion on command in 30 minutes!
