UNUSEABLE AFTER TWO MONTHS

After only two months of sporadic use, the seal on the door broke. The space between the two discs is filled with moisture. Of course Cuisinart will fix this if I ship the unit back to New Jersey at my own expense. HA The extra warranty I bought is useless. The dollar cap is the purchase price of the guarantee ($17.66)!

Didn't last 2 months

Delivered on June 9th 2016, the microwave worked perfectly, on August 3rd the wife tried to use the convection oven, it made a terrible noise like something was falling apart. Revain has a 30% return policy so I had to call Cuisinart. I had to pay $55 for shipping and add $15 to ship the unit back after the repair. I've had Sharps that have lasted 25 years with no problems, this thing hasn't even lasted 2 months.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Style 90

1 STAR. 2 MANY. 0 STAR REMINDER!.

Don't let the name fool you. Kuzinart. or an average rating of 4 stars. This Cuisnart CMW 100 microwave is a piece of junk. It takes 22 minutes to microwave a 16-ounce bag of Brussels sprouts. 22 fictional minutes. As for the average 4 stars. Reviews on 2 models. CMW 100 and CMW 200 Confection/Microwave are mixed together. Just look at the 1 star reviews. Forewarned is armed.

Worst combi oven Big disappointment!

Save money! The light burned out in the first week I had this microwave/convection oven, which is not covered by the warranty. Contact the service center to replace the branded bulb soldered into the base module. A convection oven does not reach higher temperatures, so it takes 2-3 times longer to cook something. Lower convection temperatures take too long to reach cooking temperature. Microwave power settings do not seem to scale properly. For example, softening butter on power level 1 for 10…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • unreliable

The electronics failed between 3 and 4 minutes after the first cook cycle and failed completely. The right rear quadrant is too hot to touch. After about 5 minutes, the electronics switched on again. Rinse and repeat endlessly. I have initiated a warranty service with a warranty period. All I have is running around. After several unsuccessful phone calls and emails, I finally received shipping labels to send the unit to a Conair repair facility. I ended up receiving a repair bill from a service

Good value for money - don't wait forever! Fool me THREE times!?

Unique product that is VERY hard to find. I train both convection and microwave at home, usually both modes every day. Small but useful size. This is my third - the first had a convection sensor, the second had a stupid door latch, these are the ones I keep buying because of the price (low) and because they are so useful when they behave. I'm something of a seasoned micro cooker: I've had several rather expensive Sharp micro cookers over the years and a wonderful little Daewoo that can't be…

Best of both worlds

I was looking for a reliable convection microwave oven. I've looked at a few other options, including brands like Toshiba and Samsung, but I'm glad I went with this one. Keep in mind that I do not seriously bake or cook with this product. As an average college student, I felt the need to have a microwave in my room, but I also needed something to reheat the occasional leftover like french fries or pizza without simply reheating the wet mush in the microwave. In that sense, this product is…

Cheap plastic parts, terrible warranty and customer service

After much research I bought this microwave because I thought it would be stylish and durable. I have had other Cuisinart units and generally find them reliable and well made. Unfortunately this microwave is not available. I bought this microwave a year ago and immediately noticed that the button that opens the door is plastic and seems a little cheaply made, but the microwave worked fine. It wasn't as powerful and took longer to heat food than my previous cheap GE microwave of the same power…
