Real waste of money

Only 6 months Broken inner glass. I just made a toast and went to another room. A few minutes later I heard a crack and saw broken glass. I could not get a response from the seller Harmony House and have not received a refund. A real waste of money. Toaster Cuisinart CPT-3000 ViewPro Glass 2 slices, black

Toasted crumbs on display

Love the touch capabilities. It works well and makes good toast, sometimes even a slice. BUT THE DESIGN IS BAD. IN TWO WEEKS THERE WAS A BABY OR TWO IN THE WINDOW AND YOU CAN'T CHOOSE THEM. NOW THE FRONT OF OUR TOASTERS LOOKS 100 YEARS OLD! SOMEONE SHOULD DEVELOP A WAY TO REMOVE THE CRUMPS. THE LAST THING YOU CAN DO IS SHUTDOWN IT! I BETTER HAVE NO WINDOW THAN LOOK AT THIS BED!

I hate this. It cooks the front and back pieces unevenly and.

I bought this toaster because it did very well in consumer reviews. I hate that. It toasts the front and back unevenly and also leaves under-toasted streaks on the bread. I lowered my rating because it stopped working after a few months. My last very cheap toaster lasted over 5 years. Avoid this at all costs! I even wrote about this horrible piece of junk and their misleading review in Consumer Reports.

Buyer warning! best in ovens and toasters

I should have read the reviews and not just look at the average rating before buying. Sure, it's "cute" for a toaster, but toasting bread isn't this handsome boy's forte. If you like bread that is toasted on one side and barely toasted on the other, then this toaster is for you! Don't look out the window to decide when to take the bread out as the other side will burn. I should have kept my "ugly" toaster, it was much more consistent.

Top Rated Not like that, it goes backwards.

Too bad for a supposedly upscale manufacturer. I bought Consumer Reports to get their top rated toaster and that's about it. Black front and chrome sides with slots wide enough even for hand cut French bread or pastries (if desired). The front touch panel lights up like a VU meter. However, I can't believe that modern toasters take too long to do their job and don't toast the bread evenly. I've sent a few back and sadly this beauty joins them. We bought two: the first one I toasted 2/3 each…

Not what I expect from Cuisinart

Inconsistent results. The first slices of the day are over toasted/burnt and most of the following slices are more toasted on one side than the other. The 6 preset setting levels are always level 4. This means if you have a loaf of bread that needs more or less than level 4 you will need to reset the setting to the desired level every morning. I suspect the purpose of the glass windows is so you can look at the bread as it's toasting and manually break it off when it's done. It still won't put…

The Crumb in Art 3000

This toaster was designed to: 1. Look expensive and stylish. 2. Catch crumbs near the windscreen. Looks cool, especially when toasting at night.2. The top of the unit has a wraparound chute that, perhaps unintentionally, catches crumbs and allows them to fall off and get stuck behind the front glass. See photos. The glass is removed for cleaning, which is not very comfortable.3. For a 2-disc container, that thing is pretty big. It doesn't take long slices of bread, but I sometimes insert them…

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Expandable

Does its job really well! The purpose of this toaster (why I bought it) was to compare it to the $250 version of this toaster - when I said "so" I was referring to the unique heating element used in this toaster . Most toasters heat toast with wires—nickel-chrome wires. You can see these hot wires inside the toaster as you toast. Toasting on nichrome wire has the following problem: 1) it heats and toasts slower - the bread dries out. 2) Toast takes longer - the bread dries out again. This…
