I do not recommend, cheap quality Damascus imitation mild steel

Terrible quality, the steel is soft and dulls very quickly, dulls instantly. The surface is somehow engraved or painted with a "Damascus" pattern. I do not recommend it despite the discounts offered. To update. Look at the image to see what the damask pattern looks like at 15x magnification. It is engraved in the steel in a sinusoidal pattern. Funny for a scientist, but not so much for a chef.

Pros
  • Hands free work
Cons
  • Very expensive
