Bought for home canning. It's not exactly well made to support the weight of a full can, but it's of good quality. The hob is made of nice and thick glass, but the base is plastic. It does what it is supposed to and cooks well and evenly!

I like how this induction hob works. It heats up quickly. It heats up more toward the center, but the thicker the pan, the less noticeable it is. The default temperature increments are a bit odd (195, 300, 355) but they all work as needed. I would recommend it to friends and family.

The only part that actually cooks is the small inner circle, about 6 inches in diameter. That means that on a 10-12 inch pan, the center will be very hot and the outside cold. I had eggs that were burnt in the middle but some parts flew off to the sides and stayed raw.

I bought this to use with my pressure cooker. It takes an hour to an hour and a half to finally reach the print. Well, for my purposes, that's pretty slow, especially if I have to run the pressure cooker multiple times throughout the day. If you're going to use it for boiling eggs or whatever, it might work for your purpose. Your mileage will vary
