You need one outside for the pool and then one inside for a coffee pot or whatever my husband makes with his. I picked up a small one to use with the pool skimmer basket. I don't like climbing blind so I use little plastic filters to scoop out what I can't see and then stick my hand in to get the basket out of the skimmer and it works great for that.
