Works great if you have a 4th Gen Ram 2500 4x4

Works great if you have a 4th Gen Ram 2500 4x4. When my W/D hitch is at its lowest, the height is perfect for my caravan. The height of the top sphere is approximately 20 inches.

Pros
  • Makes fun
Cons
  • disappears

A must for GM SUVs

A must for my 2016 Tahoe. The height of the receiver hitch is 24.5 inches from the ground. Trailer tongue height is 19" on most trailers, so lowering is required for GM vehicles with a receiver hidden in the bumper.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Need a longer shaft for WDH

I upgraded a ram 1500 to a ram 2500. 2500 is taller on the receiver and the stock Husky didn't fit deep enough to work so I went with that stock. Everything is set up and running like a champ! Great price and perfect for my needs.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Many things

Perfect fit for my Ram 2500

Bought to replace my 6 bolt short shaft. I used the smaller one on my 1500 Chevy and needed it when I bought the 2500 Ram. My truck has an off-road package. So if I set my WD hitch to the lowest position on this stock, my Jayco Whitehawk TT lines up perfectly when hitched. At the lowest setting, the top of my ball is about 21 1/2 inches off the ground.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Almost never

This is a huge piece of metal that costs too much and should be included in all kits today rather than bought separately, apart from the company's sales tactic. It's Kurt, what can you say? You are the pinnacle in heavy tugboat game. It's a name I'll always trust as I take on my family's hard work, you know?

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • It's ok

Made in China, not the USA.

This hitch is made in China and sold by Curt. The sticker on the box tells us who made it. I needed more grade to level my camper and this stopped 90% of the wobble. My old clutch is welded together and cannot be adjusted. This caused my RV to rock to the point where I didn't feel safe to yank it. My issue was resolved, but I didn't like that the hitch wasn't made in the USA.

Pros
  • Heavy duty finish
Cons
  • Frequency

GTG with 6 " Pro-Comp Tundra Lift

I have a 2014 Tundra with a 6" Procomp lift. I carry a 30 foot Rockwood windjammer with a bumper and hitch to distribute the weight. With the original hitch, the camper was very uneven at the front because the lift lifted the hitch too high. Got this stock and it made it perfect and my camper will sit flat. A solid piece of metal and I'm sure it will outlive the camper.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

A must have if you have a lift

Great product if you have a lift. My Silverado 1500 has a 3" and 33" hub. It worked great. It took me about 2 inches of extra camber to lower the tongue on our trailer (4000 pounds of forest river). It wasn't strictly necessary as the original clutch stem that came with my Husky weight distribution kit was sufficient. But now that I've installed this longer stem, I find my truck/trailer sits much more evenly.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Frustrated with exterior accessories

I'm disappointed in this track. There are no markings on this WD Drop Hitch assembly to indicate manufacturer or weight rating. It may well be a Chinese knockoff sold at brand name price. Without a weight declaration, you have no way of proving to the local police officer that this towbar is suitable for the load being towed. Coupling 2x2 solid. The stand on my old hitch is 2 x 2.5. This required regrinding of the ball retainer. The workmanship looks good, but the welds have been sanded down so

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • poorly thought out
