Not the best company for customer service.

Tried to put it on a trailer, doesn't fit. A manufacturing defect has occurred. When I sent it back I was charged $15 for return shipping. Ridiculous.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not bad

Just what I needed: towing items and winches

I installed this hitch on the back of my toy trailer to haul our bikes. The Curtis hitch works very well, is easy to install and allows me to use my trailer bike rack. Love it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • weak

Fits Boss Blade Crossbar on 2015-2019 GM HD Pickup!

After installing my plow I was not happy about losing the front receiver. I measured the plow beam and assumed it would fit and guess correctly.

Cons
  • Minor repairability

Make sure it's not too wide.

I'm sure it will be a great receiver if it fits. It would be nice to know how broad this article is. It doesn't fit because it's too wide. Now the seller wants a 25% restocking fee and I'm paying for shipping. If the seller had the width I would not buy. It's wider than any other similar receiver I've seen. If I send it back, it costs me 50% of the value of the goods. I think I'll try to sell it on Facebook.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great receiver for a trailer!

I took and cut this out and redrilled the top holes to fit the 2" x 3" rear crossbar on the back of my boat trailer. A pigtail was attached to the back of the boat trailer to connect the ski trailer to the lights. Now I can tow the jet ski behind the boat like a champ! I ran this boat and ski trailer combo at 80 mph all summer! No problem! Heavy construction! Nice black finish! Well built product! Very satisfied!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Something different

Not for my ATC trailer

The Curt Camper hitch is very well made but I couldn't fit it to the back of my 26ft Aluminum Trailer Company Toy Hauler motorhome. I've been agonizing over buying this item for over a year. I wanted the hitch to just stow the bed extension when not in use on my kayak transporter. When I tow a trailer, the kayaks are placed in the trailer. Maybe I could trim Kurt's hitch to fit, but that would take a hell of a lot of sanding or a flashlight. The problem was the "return policy", but I had to…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Saved me a lot of money!

If you're mechanically inclined, this will fit the Highlander bumper. Drilled an aluminum bumper, glued it in place, cut off the bumper cover, has since pulled a trailer. You don't need an under-dash mounted converter switch or a fuse in the fuse box. Your lights connect to a line that is always live as long as the switch is on. Find your signals and your break. That's it, you always have daytime running lights but you save time and money for a converter to pulse your headlights. This is…
