This toaster doesn't toast bread, it just warms it up. When I turn it on the highest setting it burns the edges a bit but it still doesn't fry. Will have to buy another one from another company.

This toast bakes faster than the one I had previously, the toast is ready in a few seconds except for one, it's not as well made as the instructions say looks like , so if I want to get to level 5 as instructed, I actually need to use level 6.

I bought this toaster less than a year ago. After a few weeks, the handle no longer stayed down when toasting. I called customer service and they sent me a new toaster. Today the handle broke again. LESS THAN A YEAR HAS PASSED and BOTH toasters have failed. I don't understand why this toaster has such rave reviews. DO NOT buy this toaster unless you want to hold down the handle to toast your bread in a few months 😩

This is an attractive toaster that will look great on the kitchen counter. I would also say this is an easy toast winner. However, if you like bagels with toast, look elsewhere. With regular bagels from the supermarket, which are usually not very big, they barely fit in this toaster. And the top edge will never toast because the bagel won't fit deep enough in the toaster. I've been more than patient and as we only use it a couple of times a week I've put it off, but honestly, can a toaster on its own be that unstable? And the electricity in the house and the socket is not a problem - test it. For example, you can cook 2 pieces and right after that you might only need one more piece. My old toaster died and I wanted a new one, this time I noticed a few things like the width of the slots in case I wanted Bagels, this one covered it slightly enough but the wife insisted it "looked nice in my kitchen" which made me search harder until I found this one, no fingerprints on the sides and shiny chrome in the Center.
