Serves its purpose but I wasn't impressed by the price

My friend convinced me to buy this instead of the black Fast Straps and I've tried to do as much research as I can. It's comfortable, safe and appears to be well built. Being a little 5ft 6 in person I had to pull it up significantly and tie an extra thong because there was too much of it! I thought he would stay behind me if I had to move him out of the way. or flex/forward/down but tends to slide down and forward Since I mainly use SL1 and smaller lenses, I'm not sure a bigger and heavier…

Extremely comfortable and safe under heavy loads.

Love this strap! I've looked everywhere for a quality sling strap. I've looked at everyone out there and came back to this for one simple reason. split shoulder pad. Dude, that thing is super comfy! I carry around a large Canon SLR, usually with a 70-200IS L lens fitted with a C-Loop. The biggest thing I've detached from her is the Canon 400L lens. Worry about straps or buckles coming loose or dropping gear. For other harnesses I've researched, I've read many horror stories of buckles coming…

Good design, good materials, very comfortable.

I bought this product after carefully researching all the options online. I needed a shoulder strap as the neck strap that came with my Nikon D5300 was uncomfortable and obtrusive. The Custom SLR Glide is a well-designed, easy-to-use harness that appears to be made from quality materials, so I suspect it will be durable. The Glide was very easy to attach to the camera with a screw mechanism that fits into the tripod thread. I found the strap to be fully adjustable despite some other reviews and

Top quality, great sliding, sizing issues

Only unpacked today so won't be using it outdoors yet to comment. I'm 5ft 5in so I knew length would be an issue from previous reviews. However, I think the risk of setup limitations was worth it, moving the camera up and down from waist to eyes with ease was worth a shot. At first glance, my solutions seem to have overcome size problems. The way I did this was to disassemble the entire back half of the strap and remove all hardware including both retainers. Then I had the part that attaches…

Stop shopping and buy this system

I like this system. I personally wouldn't recommend it to lower people though. I'm 6ft 3cm and can easily see that even with the shortest adjustment length it can be too long for smaller individuals. So, with that caveat in mind, I'll give my opinion. This is a very well designed strap if you are interested in a sling style solution. Each connection point is pivotable (the neoprene piece worn over the shoulder is in turn connected to the "rotating clips" that form the secondary part of the…

Very comfortable and very convenient

I've long suspected that shoulder harness systems were a gimmick and couldn't bring myself to invest in them. But I'm tired of fumbling around with a choker, a hand tie, or just plain strapless. After spending money to order, I realized I wouldn't make it in time for a trip that involved a lot of walking and moving. So I quickly assembled a homemade thing using an eyebolt in a tripod mount, a quick release ring, a split ring, and a regular camera lanyard. This showed me that the shoulder strap…
