Cheaply made. The face is so dark that the time cannot be read. The watch strap is awful, like cheap plastic/cloth (hard to describe). Nothing about this watch is actually wood or looks like wood. The engraving on the case back isn't too bad, but other than that the watch is (in my opinion) not worthy of a nice gift. Sent it back for a refund and will give my son something else.

I would like to start by saying that I had no problems with the person who sold this item, the delivery time was as stated and the amount charged was correct. However, this watch was a big disappointment. The inscription on the back of this plastic watch was so small and barely engraved that you practically needed a microscope to read it! I was heartbroken when I gave this to my husband for our anniversary. Thank god I have a wonderful husband and he was just showing him off in his cage.

the watch itself is beautiful the lettering is easy to read and i think my dad will like it no matter what you can see from the pictures there are some signs of wear where the paint is peeling and wood becomes visible. Things happen so I don't get upset but as it's an abomination it means a lot to him because I'm giving it to him after seeing him for a while and it's disappointing that it's not perfect - it is, like they themselves say the clock is ticking, that's all that matters.
