Too bad you can't give zero stars. It broke the FIRST TIME we tried to use it. Doing nothing but crushing a hot dog. In fact, the only thing I managed to cut myself was my finger. Unacceptable.

The first time I used it the top came loose on the hinges. It's easy enough to get together, but it's annoying. I usually just leave it alone until I'm done, tidy and ready to put it away. It doesn't work well with anything that has a thicker shell. Soft, cheap hot dogs go best with it.

If you try to slide it through a hot dog, raw or cooked, it'll fall apart before it can even cut the hot dog, and it doesn't matter if You collect it back, then the meat will not pass. I no longer recommend buying this item from Amazon. It's garbage. The best look has to be made from the best material

We were excited to get this and try it but the hinges broke on first use. We tried slicing the grapes as shown on the packaging but failed immediately. I've tried slicing the hot dog with some success while holding the device together, but it's still difficult to clean properly and I won't be using it again.

While I like the size of the hot dogs that hot dogs are cut into, they are perfect for toddlers, but I have two big complaints about this product: First, one of the metal knives fell off on first use (I think it was poorly welded). Second, the two pieces of plastic holding the two halves together will pop out a few times when you cut them if you don't put too much pressure on both.

This product is a good idea, but it doesn't work. He couldn't quite get away with a standard Oscar Mayer hot dog, no matter how hard we tried. The sharp teeth just cut the cooked hot dog in half. Too much effort to make it work. After 5 tries we gave up and hand cut the hot dog. Don't waste money on it.
