This will not work. It's a quarter inch shorter and just falls into the slots where you want it to be supported. This is useless, I want my money back, I only gave it one star because it was the only way to give this review. Why lie. Why not build a piece to match? Why put all that effort into something that doesn't do what you promise?

Worked great and got our vacuum up and running again straight away. The design of these plastic parts is small, so in general when opening the canister you need to be careful and careful not to damage these parts. There is a piece of plastic that needs to be twisted/turned after removing the canister from the vacuum before opening the canister and you want to make sure this part works properly/moves smoothly.

After contacting Dyson about ordering this relatively small plastic replacement part I was told it is not sold separately and can only be purchased as a part for $96. ($111 with tax and shipping) Bigger Vacuum Whirlwind! After my initial anger subsided, I decided to look elsewhere, starting with Revain. The Revain has arrived and I am pleased that both it and the filters I ordered work as well as all Dyson branded parts.

So this part looks like an exact replica of what broke in the car. It couldn't be easier to install. but the block doesn't work properly. I would really like instructions on how to replace all the parts to make sure I don't do anything wrong. I can only give 3 stars because it doesn't work properly, but that could be my fault. At the same time, the product manufacturer's mistake is that they did not send instructions, or even better, provided a link to a short video.

Parts fit perfectly but parts don't match the high gloss dark red paint finish of the original parts which makes them more noticeable. So if the finished look is important to you, you might want to consider this version, but the details are there. I'm not sure about the parts yet. It's hard to judge hard plastic as it can look good and look like hard plastic but can be very brittle, time will tell.

This is a proper dust bag replacement clip but if you look at your Dyson it's made in one piece from the side of the canister. You can pull out the broken one because it's broken, but there's no way you can put that piece of plastic in place without bending it to the point where it breaks. The only replacement is coming from Dyson and requires a brand new jar which hasn't made me happy but hopefully this will help you avoid wasting your time and effort ordering from Dyson later and running no…

I bought this because my canister cap broke. If you want to replace the button I would just buy the complete top. It's really not much more than just these parts. Let me just say that replacing the canister's cap is extremely difficult. Basically you have to disassemble the entire canister to replace this small part.
