    Cheap easy install non Ford quality OE

    To replace it loosen the metal bar and use pliers to pull out the small clip in the door jamb, easy! My f100 was missing the keys when I got it, now it's a steerable truck. But I wanted to lock the doors around town, now they're easy to install, fairly easy, they work pretty well, don't forget to bring your little plastic bar clamps to replace the old flimsy ones that will break!

    I strongly do not recommend buying

    Bought this as a cheap replacement for the original locks in my 1969 Mustang. They seemed to work fine when first installed. The key was smooth and the locking mechanism worked well. However, when I left the house for the first time, I found that it is very easy to get the keyhole stuck so far that sometimes (actually almost always) you can't even get the key in. No amount of graphite or dry lubricant can fix this. I don't want to be locked in a car because my door locks are of poor quality and

    Inexpensive lock replacement.

    I bought these for my 1979 Ford F-150. It's a restored truck so I only drive it a few thousand miles a year and it's indoors whatever the cold/wet weather. So I don't need locks that stand up to everyday use and the weather. They are not of the highest quality but they work great and are a lot cheaper than original locks. For my application they are fine. I'm not sure how well they will hold up to everyday use and harsh weather. I had to sharpen the bottom tab a bit as it was too big to fit the
