Good value for money

I installed these lights on our boat trailer. They were very easy and quick to assemble. After launching our boat twice, one of the lights seemed to leak and fill with water. It didn't work anymore. I contacted the seller about replacing the lamp. They were very observant and quickly changed the light. In fact, a few days later they sent two new lights. New headlights installed, everything works. Excellent customer service and value for money for this product.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I will add later

Pigtails don't fit well

For $20 you can't go wrong. They're really cheap. - They use a standard 3-pin connector, but the pins on the pigtails are made of a remarkably flexible material. One of the two could not be inserted deep enough into the socket to lock. I ended up reusing old braids with strong pins. - Stop/Turn LEDs are no brighter than taillight LEDs, 5 on for taillights, 5 more on for brake lights. During the day the difference is hardly noticeable.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Good price! on Lights

I bought these as I was looking for a new pair of tail lights for my boat trailer. All three local suppliers wanted $60 to $80 for a pair of the same LED taillights. Obviously I saved a pack to spend on fishing lures! They shone very bright and the installation was done using standard heat shrink connectors and for added security I placed shrink wrap over the installed connector. I'm sure the salt water will find a way yet, but hopefully in a few years.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Almost OK

Attention: thin rubber cover/housing

Real headlights are TOP! but the black rubber case is very VERY soft. So soft that BOTH fell off the rails of their boat trailer on the way to the beach last weekend. My wife drove behind me and called me as soon as the first one pulled away. so I stopped as soon as possible. But when I stopped, the second fell out and crashed onto the highway. I replaced my old faded headlights that have been on the trailer for the last 5 years with these and was very excited to see them light up the night…

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • everything ok

Functional but you get what you pay for

This was a direct replacement for my fancy Triton trailer lights. Nice that it was a quick replacement and the price was light. But I have serious doubts as to whether they are really DOT legal. The difference between a rear light and a brake light can only be noticed by blinking. The rear light is quite (almost too) bright. The brake light/indicators are not bright enough. BUT. Replacing the headlights quickly before selling the trailer is a good deal. If you also equip your trailer with…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Don't really like it is ok
