Not compatible with switching peripherals as well as accidental shutdowns.

While this was a good concept for the item, I feel like there are compatibility issues with my peripherals. I use all Logitech G910 G502 G305 G533 gaming hardware and there are times when the switch is unpowered or I would have to unplug and plug it back in. There are also times when while playing or messing around with Excel they will turn off in the middle of use and the mouse will skip or disconnect. Keep in mind that I use this for my gaming desktop and my HP work laptop in a docking…

It Makes Life Easier

I love having to switch between two computers. It is very nice. I add my mouse, keyboard, headset and anything else I want to share between them and it takes care of the rest. No more switching cables. In my case, I have a desktop computer and a Surface Dock, each connected to an input on my monitors, so all I have to do is change the monitor's input and press a button to switch from work to home settings.

Decent switch, but do not use with wireless chargers

All in all a very decent USB switch that I use to switch between two computers. If you're switching power between two desktops, this switch has the added benefit of automatically switching between sources. The BIG downside of this device is that it doesn't provide enough voltage to charge the wireless devices connected to it (e.g. wireless mice and headphones) so I ended up having to manually swap multiple USB ports between computers anyway. A little weak, but still a reliable device.

Now that I have solved the problems with my PC, everything is great.

I just kept the original app for posterity. But this one just seemed to me to be a 2.1 USB hub. Now, a week later, after solving some driver issues on my end (which were unknown to me), I've solved the problems. I haven't used it much since then, but it seems to be fine and correctly recognizes both USB 2.1 and USB SuperSpeed Hub in USBTreeView. Unstable connection on Windows, Mac works fine

I use this product to switch mouse and keyboard between m1 mba and gaming pc. It seems to work fine on the Mac, but randomly disconnects and reconnects every 10 seconds when I'm at my computer. I know the KVM switch is the problem because when I connect my peripherals directly to the computer I don't have the disconnect. Great product for setting up two PCs

Works perfectly. I had to switch between my work and home computers so I could use my wireless keyboard and mouse without having to move the USB port every time. The device is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, which is perfect for my desk. Blue lights indicate which are small and difficult to see from an angle, but that's really my only complaint at the moment. would recommend.
