for my 5 year old although it would be easier than 3x3x3. The boy was wrong. He scratched the back of his head trying to figure it out. That's a lot better than those who sit in front of the TV and play video games.

My nine year old is obsessed with solving these cube puzzles. She got it for her Easter basket and never stopped playing with it. It is well made and easily twists on the sides. I like that it's easier to solve than the regular ruby cube for those having a hard time. A great gift for anyone who loves these puzzle cubes.

Smooth movement. Feels like quality. I'm a high school teacher and I leave this by the bookshelf as a quiet activity when the students are done. I was very surprised how many of my students got involved and already knew how to quickly build a cube. It was a cool way of figuring out that they were into puzzles.

A good cube for those who are just starting to learn how to build a cube. If you already know how to solve 3x3x3 then you know how to solve this. The only problem is that on my cube, one of the tension screws was ripped out of the box. I'm not sure if this is a quality control issue or if a used dice was sent to me, but something to consider when reviewing this dice.

D-Fantix has quality dice. I highly recommend them. I already had a 3x3 before I bought a 2x2, but it's still a lot of fun to build the cube with a difference. I also bought a 4x4 (which I have yet to decide on) along with this 2x2. I sometimes pick them up and twist them just to have something to play with, they glide so smoothly. I will definitely buy more products from D-Fantix

This puzzle worked very well. It has a good corner cut and a moderate reverse corner cut. It's a lot of fun to play with him. It's also deceptively difficult if you're unexperienced with puzzle cubes like the Rubik's Cube. It seems easy, but quite a challenge. However, instructions are included if you want to read them instead of figuring them out. It's a bit greasy, but that's easily remedied with a little wiping with a cloth. All in all it's great!

Ordered a pair of 2x2s to test side by side. Compared to the QiYi Qidi 2x2 (also by D-FantiX), this model falls short - corners feel loose and "rocky", cornering is 50/50 shots, and the gloss on the edges is very slippery (almost greasy feeling). I've been working on this since I first mixed it and I can only choose one color. I spent 10 hours in one day and the same in the same color. Let's say it's very easy for kids, but it's HARD! I tested 82-88 maybe IQ at a $5 kiosk at Walmart so this cube should be easy! Changing lightbulbs and oil in my '82 cell is child's play compared to a device I believe will be made in China to one day indoctrinate the masses for a bloodless coup d'état. Does anyone from this company want to help me?
