My chair has armrests that flex into the bottom of the seat. They are easy to put on and fasten at the bottom. There is no padding so I'm going to cover the armrests with a light gray towel to add some interest to the all black chair and add some padding. Love it.

They look like a pair of split socks with a zipper on the side. They will work until I replace the entire chair. Can't comment on their durability yet, but even if they do wear out, they're cheap enough to throw out and buy new ones. If your armrests are worn out and you don't want to buy a new chair, these are great!

Great armrest cover at a reasonable price. This is a simple product that you can easily make yourself unless of course you are lazy. Keep in mind that this is just a zippered panel. So don't expect a pillow unless you plan on adding a layer of foam in between. What I don't like so far is how the zipper interlocks and forms an uneven row (see picture) if your chair has a large armrest, but that's not a problem for me, so all ok.

They matched my old black faux leather office chair perfectly. My chair is in good condition except for the armrests. They are easy to stretch around the armrests and attach firmly to them. You don't really notice that. My chair is in my library but not by a sunny window so it might lend itself to my decision as you don't really see that it's made out of stretch fabric as it doesn't get bright sunlight. These are ideal for a desk chair without armrests and have a closed design where both ends of the armrest are attached to the chair. The zipper allows you to wrap around your arm instead of sliding down either end. It is a thin material with no filler. So I bought a 1/2"/1mm thick yoga mat from Walmart for $6.
