I have already used two kits on Macbook Pros which arrived without the back cover screws (after removing the remaining tape). They work very well and the "Lock-tite" applied to the tips is appreciated. I will buy again.

They may differ slightly from genuine Apple screws, but they fit the slots just as well. Needed multiple kits for multiple MacBooks I wanted to trade in. I don't know how or when my OG screws came out, but at least I have plenty of backups now.

If you're buying this because you repair Macbooks for a living you might be disappointed with the "Lock Tit" used (Although it's just as easy to slide the threads onto whatever device you're working on), but for someone like me who only needed two screws and just bought extra ones for insurance, I really don't care that I have to Tighten them a few times and once a blue moon will replace another.

Because you received 10 sets of replacement screws, you don't have to worry about replacement screws for a long time! It also helps me feel confident that I can fall back on those spare screws when I need to when maintaining the MacBooks I use, rather than thinking about buying a brand new MacBook.

I just installed it and I'm pleased with how easy it was and I recommend this item! Great product and value! My Macbook Pro was missing two screws, worn to the bone! I replaced all the screws with these new ones after installing a new battery and RAM. These screws are exactly the same as the ones that came with the laptop and have had fresh blue Loctite applied to them. For 3 days there were no problems. Didn't have to search or buy.
