I received the switches I ordered and to my disappointment the on/off ID tag was for the 3 position switch and not the on/off switch that I received. Although the switch itself looks fine.

These switches were exactly as advertised. And exactly what I was looking for. The price was more than reasonable, the seller was a pleasure to work with and I am very happy with the camper. Many Thanks.

They looked great quality. But I think I ordered wrong. I needed strength to stay in this position. They were switched off by a spring. I sent them back and ordered what I needed. But they still looked well made!

Don't fall for this switch. They are not waterproof. After a year on my boat they literally fell apart and stopped working due to rust. They were so rusty and rusty I couldn't screw in what was left of the center console. I had to cut them out with a dremel tool which left marks on my console. Do yourself a favor and buy the best switches from West Marine!

The contact surfaces of the wires were strong, allowing for easy grasping of stranded copper, even without the use of crimping or tinning of connectors. The aluminum off/on tag had a key that fit into a slot in the brass switch shaft. This broke when tightening the switch position. It would be better if there was a tag with a stainless steel key under the lock nut.

I used this switch as a battery disconnect switch for my caravan's electric jack in case bystanders or prying fingers decide to operate the jack. I simply mounted it in a handy plastic box for electrical appliances and fixed the box in a convenient place out of sight. The switch is a bit deeper than the box I bought so I had to carefully bend the wire connectors 90 degrees.
