I use this in the reusable modules in my vaults. I've never had rust spots on anything. I will always use the unscented version as each scent will overwhelm you when you open the door. This is a very economical way to keep your stuff dry. I first bought canisters to see how many I needed and now I just fill them up.

We use DampRid in our workshop where we have an old tile floor that 'sweats' in cold weather. Because the workshop uses a generator, we cannot use the dehumidifier 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The blue handle on the jug is a separate part of the main jug so it pops out under the weight when the full jug is lifted. If this happens when the lid is open and you try to hold on to the handle to pour the contents into the container, the entire jug will fall to the ground and the contents will fly all over the place making a huge mess. I've been using DampRid products since college and they've never let me down. I was a bit nervous about this delivery as I could easily imagine them being slapped and the lids coming off. Luckily that wasn't the case and they arrived safe and sound :) I currently have 3 small 10oz mugs in my master bedroom which were an addition to my house and were not hooked up to the central air conditioning.
