Good fit for Sig Sauer P226 grips

Good for filling gaps in Sig Sauer P226 grip screw holes. There's still so much GAO left, but the screws are short enough that it's not the o-rings.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • No instructions

They fit perfectly, the quality is excellent

They were all made the same, no deformation, soft and pliable. They provide a good seal and appear to be made of good rubber. I expect they will hold a good seal for years to come. Pleasantly surprised.

Pros
  • Super for me
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Suitable for reloading faucet o-rings

If you are reloading the recommended size #17 is the size that allows the die to float a bit. The problem is that it's too big for threading. And when you tighten the lock ring, the o-ring tends to pop out. Instead, I suggest looking for a 13/16 inch bore.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Not sure

Fit the shotgun mic to the camcorder mic holder

The Canon XA11 camcorder has a handy built-in mic holder. Unfortunately, my Comica CVM-VP2 Gun Mic is too thin for the mount. Three of these O-rings are placed over the microphone for a snug and secure fit. Perfect for my use.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I've used them for everything except plumbing

I bought these for my RC sailboat. They prevent the sails from slipping off the boom and they do an excellent job of that. I've also used a couple of these on some LED headlights that were very sloppy and were dangling in the socket, they're a lot thicker than a regular O-ring. You stretch a lot more than you think. Maybe one day I'll actually use them for plumbing.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Too thick for a Medela Harmony breast pump

Bought these to replace the tiny silicone rings on my Medela Harmony (manual) breast pump on the recommendation of another reviewer. This works, but they are a bit thicker than the original rings on the pump so the grip can fall off easily. There are no issues with the quality of the product but if I buy for this reason I could choose a more expensive Medela product.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not the best

Great for grip bolts 1911

Identical to o-rings I bought from VZ Grips. Put them on some of my 1911s to keep the grip screws from loosening from recoil. Problem solved and it's easier than using Loctite. They also prevent over-tightening which can damage the bushings. A note: if you have thin grips (factory fitted to my Les Baer Ultimate Tactical Carry) they may be too thick. With the rings installed, the shorter bolts would not reach the shorter bushings. As a result, I replaced the thin lines with a standard kit…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later
