Good entry level unit

This arrived a few days ago, used once and works fine. I think the key to perfection is the consistency of the batter. The batter I made may have been too thick and the noodles didn't fall into the water quickly. Not to mention there was some waste due to accumulation and when the batter gets low it doesn't slide/throw the pieces into the water as evenly. I couldn't believe how well it worked

What a lifesaver! Every Christmas Eve I host our German Christmas dinner. We fill it with authentic German products made with love for our ancestors, but with our beloved spaetzle this proved a challenge. In years past, we did it the old-fashioned way (aka the convoluted way), by cutting chunks into boiling water. This went on for ages, and the steam from the offered pot burned our hands. This Christmas I went in search of a press or manufacturer that would get the job done much more accurately
