Very poorly made for hiking and outdoor recreation

The picture tells the story. That's after a single use. I signed up to try and get them back but there was no way. I don't leave negative reviews but these socks were too expensive not to say anything and let the other person use them. Don't throw away money like me.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Merino wool is the smallest ingredient. 70% no wool.

A more accurate description would be "merino blend” where merino is the smallest ingredient. 36% nylon. Maybe they could be called "nylon" socks. 33% acrylic and they are not called "acrylic" socks. The fact that it's not in their product description and buyers actually have to ask other buyers for content says enough about the wrong direction. One star for lack of communication.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Nothing

DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY

These socks are terrible. First, they cannot be machine dried. Modern wool socks are blended so that they can be tumble dried. They also don't wash well, probably due to line drying. Second, they lack the elasticity to stay on their feet and constantly tangle in hiking boots, rendering them useless. Third, these are the COOLEST wool socks I've ever worn. My feet are cold in them. The Danes need to work on their socks if they are truly "Danish". Pay for the best socks, they are terrible.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Difficult to say

A great feeling. A little more than expected.

Went hiking yesterday at 75 degrees. The toes held up great. Feet were not hot and sweaty. I like her looks and her thickness. The only annoying thing is that the 8-10 on women's running shoes is too big for my 8ft size and has a bit of a sock sticking out of the heel. Requires some refinement, but doesn't reduce comfort significantly. I would perhaps suggest a smaller foot size on the lower end of the recommended size range. I've tried shrinking them a bit with heat and maybe a few more rounds

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Very expensive

Depends on what you're looking for in Merino warmth.

First, they are nicely designed and fit well. The family business and the Danish language (my heritage) make me love them. However, there are a few questions: 1) To call Merino wool socks, I think they should contain at least 51% Merino wool, not 33%. 2) The price for more merino wool in the sock is not the same as the cost price. I also bought 75% merino socks at half price. 3) They aren't very warm so I gave them to a family member as I depend on the warmth of merino and my feet froze in it…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some little things

Nowhere in the description does it say that these socks are made of anything other than merino wool. to make a quick sale by using the high quality material "Merino Wool" text in their promotional offer. This is essentially lying to the customer and this is simply dishonorable. Acrylic and nylon fibers are made by treating waste from gasoline production with hundreds of toxic chemicals, and these chemicals remain in the fibers and are washed out of the fibers when heated. Heat, like body heat…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Big and chunky

I was getting very frustrated trying to figure out which (affordable) hiking/walking socks to buy. I definitely knew I wanted wool (not cheap synthetics) and I definitely knew I didn't want to spend $22-$30 a pair on Darn Tough socks (I have two pairs of Darn Tough socks and they're admittedly good socks, but I'm not considering them). I bought a pair of Danish Endurance (hiking and walking socks made from merino wool) and Buttons & Pleats (wool socks for men and women, 80% warm merino boot…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

Finally found the perfect socks!

I work 12 hour shifts and am on my feet most of the day in steel toe cap safety boots. I've tried many different socks and paid $18 for a pair, but I haven't found anything that gives me as much comfort as these socks. When I read that they are soft from heel to toe I just had to try them. I have quite long toes and the problem is that they are curved like spider legs, can you imagine that? And my middle knuckles rub against the toe of my boots where steel meets leather. They get red and sore…
