Danskin Womens Essentials Ankle Legging Sports & Fitness in Running Review

I have LOVED these leggings for YEARS. lived in them. They changed the material from 57% cotton to 55% cotton and added more spandex. Result? Strongly uncomfortable. Not elastic. It still shines even after multiple washes. I. They attract lint and pet hair like crazy! PLEASE bring back the old leggings!

I haven't washed them yet. This is a light and breathable fabric for summer. I usually wear 2X in clothes but 2X in these Danskins is a size 20-22 (based on the tag they came with). If I had known that I would have ordered 1X. I'm over 18 so the legs fit but the top is too big. I'll order less next time. I'm 5'8" and they fall about two inches above my ankle, definitely not too long. They don't show through either, just the right thickness for warmer weather and are soft without being shiny.

I loved these leggings. I have 4 other couples that I practically live in. They changed the cotton/spandex/poly combo a bit and the last pair I ordered aren't as soft, not as stretchy, and they seem thinner/cheaper. I'm definitely disappointed, but mostly because I was planning on continuing to buy these leggings and wearing them every day, but not if they continue like the pair I just bought. I love leggings. I hate paying big bucks for them, I don't want them to show through and I want them to stay on my waist and be comfortable. I need them big too. These leggings meet all my needs. I've ordered a pair and a pair of the shortened version and I love them. I will be ordering two more pairs soon! I wear them around the house, walk the dog, or go to the gym. But they are nice and black enough to wear with a cute top and boots. I'm very glad I found them, I'll stock up on them!
