Narrower but stretchy

I've worn out my Danscos after 6 years of heavy use (nurse) and bought a new pair but the 2.0 is narrower which is causing the side of my foot to hurt (see photo of the old one, like wide it was. The toe stayed the same. I had to buy a shoe tree and stretch them out on the side and top (at the toe), now they are perfect. Dansko says it will stretch, but no one had time for that, the pain was for 12-hour shifts unbearable.

6 years of change! suitable for men

I was skeptical. I have my own 3 pairs of XP Pro. They helped a lot with back fatigue but were heavy. The 2.0 is very light so I have to remember to lift my legs. There is a place for inserts if necessary. There was also a slight twisting of the ankle during the first adjustment. It doesn't look like these clogs will last 2 years like the 1.0. Will keep the rating up to date.

Not made to last and not designed for a busy kitchen

I am so disappointed that the product is not well made. I am a professional chef and I wear these shoes to work. Bought these on April 20th 2020 and wrote this review on November 1st 2020 and as you can see in the picture the button core of the shoe is starting to fall apart. Considering the shoes are around 6 months old and the restaurant is closed for a few months due to Covid these shoes really have not been used in the harsh conditions of a very busy professional kitchen. Very disappointed…

Shoes DO NOT last

After 7 months of wearing these shoes have holes in the soles. I would think that as expensive as they are, I should wear them for more than 6 months. I don't go to them often. As cooks they mostly stand, so why do they wear out so quickly. The worst thing is that this company doesn't endorse their product. basically told us we were unlucky. they won't do anything about it!

OMFG What shoes! for men

After more than 5 years I have finally replaced my old Danskos. It wasn't easy, but I always pumped up. This is the best pair so far. 2.0 is immediately ready for use. They're comfortable and pass for dress shoes in a Department of Defense enclave. What more do you want! Oh yeah! It also makes me look like a sensitive new age guy (SNAG)! This comes from a builder who has worn only the manliest and most masculine shoes for 20 years.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Low repairability

UPDATE: I ended up getting a size 40 and although it seemed big at first I got used to it after 2-3 days and I've worn them to work every day for the last year and I really liked the shoes - they keep my feet dry, there's ample support and to be honest, they're just fun to walk short distances (clinic/hospital) in them. I almost want to give 5 stars, but since it requires caution when getting on and off and mobility is not perfect, 4-5 stars. I like them so much that I would buy them again. I…
