Narrower but stretchy

I've worn out my Danscos after 6 years of heavy use (nurse) and bought a new pair but the 2.0 is narrower which is giving me a sore side prepares my foot (see photo. photo from old, how wide it is). The toe stayed the same. I had to buy a shoe tree and stretch them out on the side and top (toe of the foot), now they are perfect. Dansko says he will stretch, but no one had time for that, the pain was excruciating for 12-hour shifts.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Good but not great

OMFG What shoes! the best of mules and clogs

After more than 5 years I finally got my old Danskos replaced. It wasn't easy, but I always pumped up. This is the best pair so far. 2.0 is immediately ready for use. They're comfortable and pass for dress shoes in a Department of Defense enclave. What more do you want! Oh yeah! It also makes me look like a sensitive new age guy (SNAG)! This comes from a builder who has worn only the manliest and most masculine shoes for 20 years.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • For old

Not built to last and not designed for a busy kitchen

I am so disappointed that the product was poorly made. I am a professional chef and I wear these shoes to work. I bought these on April 20, 2020 and wrote this review on November 1, 2020 and as you can see in the picture the button core of the shoe is starting to fall apart. Considering the shoes are around 6 months old and the restaurant is closed for a few months due to Covid these shoes really have not been used in the harsh conditions of a very busy professional kitchen. Very disappointed…

Pros
  • Always Popular
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Shoes DO NOT last

After wearing these shoes for 7 months they have holes in the soles. I would think that as expensive as they are, I should wear them for more than 6 months. I don't go to them often. As cooks they mostly stand, so why do they wear out so quickly. The worst thing is that this company doesn't endorse their product. basically told us we were unlucky. they won't do anything about it!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • The list will go on.
