Dansko Women's Pace Athletic Walking Shoes in Sizes 8.5 and 9 Review

This is the second pair of Dansko shoes I have recently bought. I particularly like the heavy arch support built into the show. After looking at several other brands this is the best I've had in years!

Dansko shoes generally have good arch support and a roomy toe box. These shoes do not disappoint. I am a walker and that gives me very good support. I have bursitis and I am 63 years old. These shoes are very comfortable and supportive. I ordered gray and I love the look.

I have a pair of Dansko suede walking shoes - they are excellent. But this pair, despite the description on Revain, felt very cheap, oversized and lacking in arch support. Maybe some people get real product and leave such positive reviews and I got fake?

Lightweight, needed a bit of breaking in because they are SO supportive, I prefer running/running/hiking shoes and they look great. After a few 3 mile walks on the trails, my house got a lot cozier. They have so much support that they need to be broken down a bit (which I think is a good thing). I found Dansko to be a great brand of orthopedic shoes for nurses, waiters etc and it's their foray into athletic shoes and they've done a good job. Excellent quality sports shoes.

I bought black because orthopedic shoes are usually cumbersome and ugly and I thought black would be less noticeable. I've been wearing them for several weeks now, I've even told my husband (his acc) I want to sleep in them! I have plantar and heel spurs and am heavier. These shoes literally feel like walking on memory foam, even along the lateral heel, but with arch support and light weight. First I'm sending these shoes back. I have many pairs of Dansco including tennis shoes, classic clogs, sandals, flats, you name it. Pros - • Lightweight, perfect for hot Texas summers. more than in most Danish tennis. • Sizing was right, plenty of toe room (size 38 in all Dansko models) Cons - • Just no arch support • Heel pad went through my toe, felt like I had something in my shoe all the time . • Expected more from a rocker, the heel seems higher than the forefoot.
