This is just amazing! Super sweet. The fabric is cotton and quite dense so it doesn't show through. The high hip belt covers the entire length up to the navel well.

Bought 2 pairs then came back and bought more. Very high waist and very comfortable. They rise around your legs, so depending on your body shape, your cheeks may droop slightly backwards. I wear them to the club or on long summer hikes.

To be honest they seem childish. I have other spandex shorts that are much more comfortable than these. They are very tight and restrictive. I'm 5'4 and 112 pounds and was very tight. They can be worn under skirts or dresses but I couldn't dance or work out in them.

This is my daughter's second purchase of these dance shorts. She likes that while they are the same length as the standard shorts her dance team wears, they have a higher waist than traditional dance shorts. Holds up a little better. We plan to continue buying as needed.

The size is smaller than expected and there were strange creases. It could just be my character, but I wouldn't put a picture of myself online, let alone take one (Cellulite City). They're probably perfect for a sane person or a young lady for a dance class, but not for this mom! I bought these to wear under things that can open too wide during squats/bends so I didn't mind that they were short but would recommend going a size up!

I had amazing high waisted shorts from the Express brand, the same ones my 'bad' dog ate a huge hole in the crotch. Because, no joke, I've been trying to replace it for 4 years, now I can say the search is over. I'm 5ft 1in, 120lbs, meaty thighs and butt, size M fits perfectly. The reason I love them so much is that they have a high waist and the straps taper so there is no gap around the smallest part of the waist. the fabric is stretchy and comfortable. I have large legs and a very thin waist
