Great space saver

I needed a way to hang my film to dry without needing a hook for each thread. I usually do 6-8 rolls at a time and don't have a lot of space so this was the perfect addition to my development process. That

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

For the price, this is very poorly constructed. The metal is very thin. Clamps have no rivets or pins holding them together. Brackets are simply held together with the bent sheet metal. It still seems to work, but the overall design doesn't give me confidence that it will last long.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Perfect for what I needed

I hung my wet negatives in various places after developing, usually with clothespins. But when I had two or more, I ran into free space issues. With either a single clothespin or this device, it is important to hang the drying negatives in an open area. I used a plant hook in the ceiling most of the time. This allows me to utilize the open space in a closet or other clothes rail or ceiling hook (I use a ceiling hook). It also allows me to hang more negatives than I will ever handle at once…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin

The film is gripping and poorly designed overall.

Pros
  • Packing: 1 film hanger (with 10 fixed clips), 10 clips. Movies are not included.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
