Dasaita Android Stereo 4Runner Carplay Review

Bought about 6 months ago and fitted with no problems. While driving, the screen suddenly stopped. The touchscreen itself still works if I remember where everything is on the screen, but I can't see anything, just static. I've tried resetting the device, power cycling it, unplugging the back panel, and even following the steps provided by the support team. Nothing fixed, just dead pixels after 6 months. I do not recommend buying this.

*Not recommended to buy* I read the reviews when considering buying this system. I've seen erratic system issues and file upload issues just to get zlink and other features to work. I had a T9 for a few years before trading it for this unit. The fit and finish of this device is much better than the T9. I also think the user interface on this device is more like an OEM setup. I wouldn't sell my 4Runner without first removing the T9, but I wouldn't mind selling it with this unit. I installed this stereo in my wife's 4runner as she was jealous of Android Auto in my car and encountered heavy traffic on her daily commute. Update 09/30/2020: I originally bought this device because of Android 10 vs 8 from other Android devices for 4runners. I wanted to keep this radio but with all the problems I have encountered and troubleshooting this radio I will not. If you need to contact the company, expect one email per day.
