Great for car electronics

Pros: The package is amazing, it looks like stock compared to other aftermarket head units you can buy, you still get radio, bluetooth and USB functionality, screen not only bigger but also touchscreen (I have a 2017 Honda Civic LX (base model) so the screen wasn't touchscreen originally, very basic and small). Change the display, font style, very limited choice of wallpaper and other display problems. The fact that you have to buy a separate device for both Apple CarPlay and Android CarPlay…

Vehicle work required Video

The main unit operating system is unstable and often malfunctions. I often had to reboot the system to get it working properly again. It would hang during a phone call and mute the phone call and other media. I was able to hang up on my phone and the main unit and it still acted like I was still on the phone with the main unit. The only way to end a call on the head unit was to restart it. You also cannot make calls from your contact list on the main unit, you still have to use your phone to do

This is not recommended for configurations with a touchscreen main unit!

I do not recommend this for those who have a 2016-19 Civic with an OEM touchscreen head unit. The only positive thing about this Android head unit is the sound difference. Cons: Weak FM tuner signal. When playing music via Bluetooth, the sound is muted. You need to buy a $70 key to have Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. . BTW it will get glitchy or freeze from time to time (especially if you have a lane watch when using a turn signal). Speaking of Lane Watches, you have to hold down the button to see

So far so good (February 2019 update)

(Update below) The unit comes with everything to connect to my Civic. Everything works. Steering wheel controls, rear view camera, radio etc. Installation took about an hour as I made sure I had all the cables connected correctly, it was easy, if I did it all over again it would only take 20 minutes. The device runs smoothly, Google Assistant calls my contacts with a small modification. The only downside I have is that the screen resolution isn't great, 1024 x 600 is likely to be pixelated on a

Pros: The setup is amazing, it looks like stock compared to other aftermarket head units you can get.
