Perfect replacement for my 2011 Ford Edge. Backup lines and everything is displayed, and unsurprisingly the image is much sharper than an existing decade-old camera. If it had been installed by Best Buy and the technology was very questionable, it would have worked and I signed a waiver. It worked right away and was great.

I bought it because there was a 12 month guarantee while nobody else mentioned a guarantee (from what I could see). I installed this on a 2012 Ford Edge with SYNC 3 (update) installed. It's a hassle to take the old camera off and put the new one in BUT at this point it took seconds to swap out. The clarity, guides etc were great.

The native camera in my Fire Edge started to go out and turned the image upside down or outwards. We researched many brands before deciding on this one and we're glad we did. It took about 30 minutes to swap out the original camera, but this camera is actually better than the one we had. The picture is clear and there are parking instructions which I didn't have before. All in all it was a great choice.

Installation was easier than I expected. There are good videos on YouTube about changing cameras. Image quality is not as good as a standard camera. It seems brighter than the standard camera, but the quality isn't as good. I have also found that this camera is more affected by sunlight than the OEM camera. This camera was plug and play. All backup lines continue to run. The lines even move with the steering wheel. All in all a very good camera for the price.

I liked that this is an exact replica of the original part, sometimes it doesn't match the original but snaps in just like the original. I ordered another a few days before and the recommendations were very faded and not visible, this one has very visible lines and my camera hasn't worked in over a year so it's a freaking sharp picture so it's really shocking but the clarity is much better than Ford's

Our camera either didn't work at all or was upside down. In rare cases it might go right. We took the car to the dealer and they charged over $800 to fix it. I went to YouTube and watched a video on how to change the camera. It only required one step with the plastic inserts which was a bit tricky, the rest is very easy. It took me 30 to 45 minutes to swap out the camera. The rear car drove great, the camera works better than ever.

Camera worked perfectly on 2011 Ford Edge - better than OEM. Please note that you will need to remove the plastic panel from the inside of the sunroof and the Ford Badge housing that holds the camera, as well as a few things that need to be pulled off to take it out. Once this housing is removed you will need to carefully pry the camera out of the housing by removing the pins holding the Ford badge.
