I probably have a size 30-31 on my waist, I bought the medium one which is advertised as a 32-34 and they fit perfectly. The fabric doesn't look like it will "stretch". These lightweight shorts are a great find. They look and feel great, are so soft and comfortable to sleep in and look nice enough for you to wear. I read another review saying this and I was "yeah right" but of course they look really cool - my boyfriend even told me that today. My husband liked them I bought them with shorts because I used to buy them in long pairs. They fit perfectly, my husband is 6ft 2in and weighs 200lbs. Side pockets are good and deep. I definitely recommend them. I forgot to say that they are very soft, wash well in cold water and don't shrink in the dryer.

I am a woman who likes to have BAGS in my home clothes. So over the years I've switched to men's casual shorts, trousers and jogging pants with deep pockets. These shorts are great! Very light stretch fabric, no widths and 7" deep pockets! Always choose one size smaller than your women's size. Now cell phone, napkins and (in my case Tic Tac) no longer fall out of the pocket.
