OEM for Toyota Tundra

This is an OEM belt tensioner for Toyota Tundra at a much lower price than the dealer. Installation went smoothly, all my squeaks and squeaks were gone.

Toyota Genuine Part Part Price

This is a legitimate Dayco replacement for your Toyota 5.7. Don't be fooled by the retailer when you can pick one up for a quarter of the price. it is not fake

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Available in White Only

No more squeaking, new belt isn't dead

After snapping a few belts I decided something needed to be changed. The new tensioner seems to have helped. There's no more squeaking and my new belt hasn't snapped yet.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • So far so good

A bad tensioner came

I put in a new tensioner and it creaks like a bad one. it's just not that bad. 3 stars because it's not the seller's fault and it was received quickly. Frustrated, I had to buy another one at the auto parts store.

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Not everything fits

This is the belt tensioner that you buy yourself.

This is the belt tensioner you need to buy if you have a Toyota Tundra 5.7. This is a direct replacement and it won't take long to do it yourself. Dayco manufactures OEM parts for many manufacturers. There is no noise, the belt is tight.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Older model

2008 Toyota Tundra Best in Engines and Engine Parts

I had a horrible squeaking noise from the front of my 2008 Tundra 5.7 that I had already replaced with my snake belt. Reduced the noise at the idler pulley and purchased this item. The swap wasn't very difficult and my truck is now purring like a kitten.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine

Easy installation. for parts

The fact that this tensioner came with the pulley retracted with the pin holding tension was a game changer. Opportunity at Dayco. I couldn't possibly get enough tension to put on a new strap without Dayco, with as little room to work as it was. Great product and perfect fit. I saved about $200 by making it myself. Highly recommended
