🔆 9x12 inches Daylight Wafer 1 Light Box Review

I ordered a lightbox on Friday but it won't turn on. On Saturday I came back and asked for a replacement. The replacement came on Sunday. I was amazed at the speed of this transaction and the new Wafer 1 Light Box works great. Good size for travel, super light, keep it close to my sewing machine to see fabric placement in chain stitch projects.xo

I am very satisfied with this light box. My only real complaint is that the light tends to turn on or off or change brightness when I'm using it because the switch and dimmers are on the front and are touch controlled. So it's not uncommon for it to turn off while I'm drawing on it, or for me to keep resetting the light level because my hand or arm accidentally touched the controls. It might be a bit too thin, but it would be ideal if the controls were on the edge instead of the front…

Received the Daylight plate today and used it straight away. The block is fully sealed (no access to the LEDs, if that's an issue), and the artboard is smooth and seamless right down to the rulers around the edge. The on/off/dim switch is touch sensitive, which *possibly* could be an issue if you place the switch next to your drawing hand, but so far it's not a problem for me. The device is thin - I measured it at 7.5mm, and it easily slips between the pages of a book to trace an image. It…
