Got mine to replace a 2008 Acura RDX factory starter and couldn't be happier. Great value considering how much factory or remanufactured starters cost $400-$600. A short video on You Tube and I installed it in 30 minutes (it sure depends on the car).

On receipt of the product I compared it to a removed factory part and apart from wear and tear it was exactly the same (at least on the outside). Installed with no problems and my cars start every time seems like a good buy as I save about $75.00 over the competitor although I can't confirm durability. The time will show. Therefore only 4 stars

There are videos on the Internet to help you understand the installation. I have a 2007 RDX car. It took about two hours because I kept going back to the video. This is definitely doable for someone with only a superficial understanding of cars. It's been working flawlessly for the past few months, so it's worth the money.

I know I've looked at this before. But since Amazon sent another email asking for another estimate, I will contact you. I disassembled the newly arrived starter and was satisfied with the quality. Assembled and installed in the car. The 2007 RDX fired up perfectly with every turn of the key. It's been installed for about 3 months, I hope and trust it will last at least a few years.

I bought this starter for my RDX because it was competitively priced AND it was described as '100% brand new aftermarket unit to OEM specs'. The starter is unmarked and unbranded so my guess is that it was either rebuilt or rebuilt with original components. The packaging clearly says "refurbished". I'm disappointed that this isn't new. I would return it but it's here and I need this part to fix my car. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR DESCRIPTION TO INDICATE THAT THIS IS A REMANUFACTURED PART.
