Do Not Buy: Spare Parts

What POS . My engine cuts out for a second every time I turn something on in the car. I bet a tester. The tester showed 11.3 volts at the output, it should be 14.4. Should have spent $100 more and bought an OEM BOCH. Still has to. I can't live with freezing and low battery warnings.

NOT A GOOD PRODUCT AT ALL

Alternator died after 2 months of not using the car. I just installed it and left my jeep in the garage and it wouldn't start at all. Mechanic and it turned out that the part inside was defective. I am very upset with this as I am currently using a remanufactured alternator. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product. VERY SATISFIED BUYER.

2002 bmw 325xi - Alternators & Alternators

Failed after 150,000. Lasts 1-2 hours. These are the steps you need to take. Remove airbox, remove fan and fairing, remove serpentine belt, 17mm nut for rear electric nut, remove electric clip, remove top 16mm bolt (on idler pulley) , loosen the bottom 16mm bolt from below, then hit the bolt with a hammer as a nut pulls into the body, unscrew the rest of the way out. Or take out the generator. Turning back

It was well packaged and fitted perfectly

It was well packaged and fitted perfectly. The pulley fitted perfectly. I just installed it so time will tell as for the charging aspect. He entered much easier than the old one came out! Only thing I noticed was the bottom bracket on the block seemed loose, no major issues just thought I'd mention it. Maybe just a millimeter error in production. All cables and plugs fit exactly. Thanks for the deal!

The best deal I could find anywhere.

Fits straight and works great. Like most of the other reviewers, I've only had it a few months, but I'm very satisfied. The best price on the web. This is the 120A model that seems to be the most common for the 3.0L X5, although I believe some versions used 90A and 140A. I assume 90A is included in some 3 series with the same engine and 140A is assumed on X5s with heated seats. Definitely a pretty easy DIY install in 1-2 hours after removing all the air intakes.

Don't risk buying this generator.

Don't risk buying this generator. I brought this part and the Covid-19 pandemic ended. I had nowhere to go due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally my state opened this year in June 2021 and guess what the generator failed. I paid a lot of money for this generator and for a mechanic to install it. The seller will not help me because the warranty has expired but there was a Covid-19 pandemic shutdown that is out of my control and has nowhere to go because of this emergency shutdown. But this…

So far, so good! in Starters and Alternators

My 2002 325XI starts to sit on Tuesday with all the symptoms of an alternator failure. Battery light, gang! Light and a host of other electrical nuisances. With a cursory look at the pulley, I realized I had a Bosch block. I live in a small town and this seller was able to get me a generator quicker and for less than half the cost of one of my local parts stores (3 days including July 4th). It's an easy install, I used an OEM plastic nut on the rear stud instead of the plain zinc nut that came…
