Clearly Specified DB Electrical AND0294 New Alternator for 3.3L 3.3 Toyota Highlander. Is it really that hard to correct the wording in the Revain list? Dissatisfied!

This is a refurbished item, not new as listed. Had to return it as the pivot pin alignment was disabled and it wasn't recognized until after about 30 minutes of fighting.

I would pay about the same price at a local auto parts store for a 100 amp version and $188 at a local store for a 30 amp. Plus, you don't have to go through the hassle of returning the core to get your $35 deposit back. Works great - you can't beat that locally!

This alternator works well and produces a stable 14.0 volts throughout the rev range. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because it is clearly marked as refurbished as shown in the picture. I bought this to replace a broken repair block so I was keen to buy a new one. It works fine so I won't be returning it, but the buyer should be aware that it's not new.
