Used for handmade a door or other woodworking. Industrial quality router bits. C3 micro-grain tungsten carbide cutter. Solid hardened bodies with anti-kickback design. Build-up & heat resistant teflon coating.
Industrial and Scientific cutting tools should be reliable and high-quality. As a result of using this product, I found that the router bits were poorly made and frequently broke during use. The only positive aspect was that they were easy to install. However, the cons far outweighed this one pro. I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially not for the high price it is being sold at. Look elsewhere for better options.
Pros
Efficient and precise cutting with consistent results
Cons
Requires additional space for the raised cabinet, limiting workspace options
Two bits must have the same cutting edge size. These pieces didn't fit, so they didn't fit together when I cut the joints. One side was milled out so it didn't match the style of my project. Consequently I wasted expensive wood trying to get the joints to work. I suspect that the quality control at the manufacturer overlooked this problem on their own.
Pros
Rugged, hardened body with anti-kickback protection.
I agree with Bob's assessment that the set does not match the rails and styles. You can get them to come in and get closer, but the patterns don't match perfectly. I also had quite a few tears while using them. If I had to do it again I wouldn't buy this set. I'll up my game and finally spend some serious money on a set of Sommerfeld's cabinets. It's just not precise enough for me.
