High quality cable, also works great with my old cooler. 5 stars except that the red and blue dots for warm and cold polarity were missing. I nearly ruined a fridge full of cold food along the way, but caught the mistake in time. Wide side up = warm. Narrow side up = cold. Slightly different than expected but now I know.

The best portable fridge cord! It is well built and solid. Where Igloo and Coleman lines melt instantly, I expect this line to last months if not a year or more. While the cables supplied by Coleman and Igloo get so hot they burn your fingers and turn into almost unrecognizable and unusable junk, these cables function as my ex-wife's tokens of appreciation. I highly recommend this line!

I bought this fridge cable for my husband's igloo, the original one doesn't work anymore, he is a truck driver and he said this cable works better than the original cable that came with the igloo delivered is cooler because the plug is held longer and better in the socket. This is the second I've bought him, the first cable still works great, he just wanted a spare in case he missed the first one on the go.

Our 15 year old electric igloo fridge has been repaired! The power adapter got very hot and then stopped working. I tried this new cable first before buying a new inverter and the new cable did the trick! I want it marked for proper installation as it doesn't have the blue dot like the original so I just put a small piece of tape on the side up.

The build quality is much better than I expected. The OEM cable eventually melted the tip due to a loose connection in the car socket. The 120V to 12V adapter has also been weakened. This stays firmly in place and has a large contact area, and the springs feel much stronger. Only used for an hour or so but would buy more. With the OEM, it was sometimes difficult to tell if the power light was on in daylight. You can use this almost like a mini flashlight.

The original Igloo plug failed after 6 months but was replaced with them. This connector failed within a year and the replacement was not covered by the warranty. The replacement plug from Igloo is more expensive. I ordered this one and it seems to be the best out there. The one in the igloo swayed. This one fits better and I'm happy with it. I don't know about the longevity as I've only had it for a week but so far so good.
