I have only recently used them and was so excited that they had the tops but after 2 washes they had something showing the measurements. Very disappointed!

I like the shape and there are no sharp edges. The sharp edges of our Pyrex measuring cup is why we gave it a try and the kids loved it. However, as with Pyrex, the inscriptions on the mugs are immediately dishwasher safe. We use the top shelf but it's still gone. Otherwise love her.

I like the legible labeling, thickness, lid. However, the lids only sit on top. They are not attached to the cups so they can easily fall off. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars. I use these cups to measure and hold items that can be used in recipes so all measurements can be taken before placing the item in the bowl, breadmaker or pan. Also, I can put the lid on and refrigerate food before using it. In general they are great.

I love having a lid on measuring cups for preparing things like broth and not transferring to a separate container or using plastic wrap for measuring cups without lids. I also really like that you can choose between closed, open and even shallow pouring by simply turning the lid. My only concern is that the handle feels too small for my whole hand, making it less comfortable and stable to carry and pour. Not good in every way. The tops are not tight, they just sit on the cup. The dimensions on the small mug are not labeled correctly. For example, 1/4 cup says 1/2. I'm guessing 1/2 of 1/2 is 1/4 so maybe that's what they wanted. It doesn't matter, since the measurements began to disappear after the first wash. A Good Start: This is (supposedly) made from borosilicate glass - the original Pyrex. But what was once Pyrex is now cheap, heat-treated, colorless glass. If you scratch it, it can shatter into thousands of pieces. So real borosilicate glass is better - durable and heat resistant. Now for the bad news: Lids are useless because they aren't airtight. Bought to replace our old Pyrex favorites which cracked and had to be thrown away. Borosilicate glass can withstand heavy impact in the kitchen and we prefer products made from this superior type of glass. Note that lids work well for covering something in the fridge that has been prepared and is waiting to be used in cooking. They don't close tightly like Tupperware or anything.
